A review - The NotesToPaper® Workshop on October 25th, 2002

The workshop was held at the Relexa Hotel in Frankfurt/Main in cooperation with our partners the i.Q. GmbH, Wunstorf and the INSIGHT Education GmbH, Frankfurt/Main. A total of 46 customers took part in this all-day event thus making it very sucessful.

During the first part of the workshop the participants learned about the basics when integrating NotesToPaper into existing Notes applications via Lotus Script. The creation of report templates and the use of the designer was next on the agenda. Then customers presented their NotesToPaper solutions. A NotesToPaper customer, EMUGE-FRANKEN then introduced their web-based quality and complaint management system, which allows the different locations of the company to collect and handle customer complaints via browser access. Next Springcom-Consulting presented their Lotus Notes and NotesToPaper based application - a production and order data base - developed for the DaimlerChrysler AG to control their production of custom-made products (e.g. vehicles of the luxury brand Maybach). The Nemetschek Bausoftware GmbH, one of the leading German companies that provides software for the construction trade, demonstrated their product rivera, which also offers a NotesToPaper integration. The product rivera is an extensive project information system for the building industry, developed on the basis of Lotus Notes, which supports the user from the project acquisition to guarantee. The i.Q. GmbH, specialist in Lotus Notes based quality management, showed how their product iqForms, which also provides a NotesToPaper integration, enables the Notes developer to save valuable time and resources during Notes development. During the breaks demo stands for individual questions and presentations to NotesToPaper, iqForms, as well as CRM solutions and other business applications were at the participants disposal. There they also had the chance to exchange their personal experiences using NotesToPaper amongst one another.
