Virtual exhibition versus crowds

During the CeBIT 2001 from March 22nd through April 10th the SoftVision Development GmbH will be presenting itself with a virtual trade fair in the world-wide-web.

The SoftVision Development GmbH will not be exhibiting at the annual CeBIT in Hannover, but will present itself with a virtual exhibition booth in the internet.
As Peter Hoffmann, Managing Director Sales, states: "The CeBIT is losing potential in the B2B-Groupware environment, as opposed to a Lotusphere Europe or the Lotusphere in Orlando. In order to be able to still offer the "trade fair feeling" to those interested, we have decided to provide a somewhat different service - the virtual exhibition booth."
During the CeBIT, SoftVision will present a completely re-designed website in the form of an exhibition booth were visitors can gather information to the ongoing development and new features and releases of its products. It will be possible to "collect" information material and to pose questions to the stand personnel. Peter Hoffmann continues on the "virtual exhibition": "Every visitor will have the opportunity to leave their "business card" in order to establish a direct contact. That will allow us to communicate with our guests without crowds and most important without constant pushing and shoving. To ensure that the time and trouble is worth a customers while, we will be presenting a special offer during the time of the show."
A visit to the "virtual exhibition" will be worth any customers while from a number of points of view. We are looking forward to see if the Notes community will accept this new, slightly unusual offer.
